This policy explains what Davenport & Associates, Inc. ("we," "us") collects through davenportdstcapitalgains.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to this website only.
What we collect
We collect only what you give us. Nothing on this site requires an account.
- Contact details you submit — your name, email address and phone number, entered in the Capital Gains Estimator.
- The figures you enter into the estimator — asset type, purchase price, improvements, sale price, selling costs, depreciation, filing status and state, together with the estimate we calculate from them.
- Your messaging consent, if you give it — whether you ticked the SMS consent box, the exact wording you were shown, the time, and the page address. We keep this as a record of consent.
- Basic technical information your browser sends with any web request, such as browser type and approximate country.
We do not ask for, and you should not send us, a Social Security number, account numbers or tax return documents through this website.
How we use it
- To show you your estimate and, where relevant, our booking calendar.
- To contact you about that estimate and about whether our services may fit your situation.
- To send appointment and marketing text messages, only if you gave SMS consent.
- To keep records we are required to keep, and to protect the site from abuse.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. We share it only with service providers who operate this site and our client records on our behalf — our customer relationship management and scheduling platform, and our website host — and only so they can provide those services to us. We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim.
Text messages
SMS consent is optional and is never a condition of receiving your estimate or of any purchase. If you consent, message and data rates may apply and message frequency varies. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Opting out of text messages does not withdraw consent to be contacted by phone or email. We do not share mobile numbers or SMS consent with third parties for their own marketing.
Cookies and tracking
This page sets no advertising or analytics cookies of its own. The booking calendar shown with your results is embedded from our scheduling provider and is governed by that provider's own privacy terms once you interact with it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records for as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet our professional and legal record-keeping obligations, then delete or anonymize them.
Your choices
You may ask us to tell you what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Write to us at the address below and we will respond within a reasonable time. Some records we are required to retain cannot be deleted on request.
Children
This site is intended for adults and is not directed to anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
